Access Guide to NYU Libraries
Faculty, students, and professional staff of SHARES member institutions, outside the metropolitan region have access privileges to Bobst Library.
This site shows privileges at the various NYU and Consortium libraries for most categories of users. If you do not see your user type listed you can try the search box.
Users who do not fit into any category but would like access to Bobst Library can speak to their home library about getting a METRO pass, consider purchasing a Friends of Bobst membership, or may be sponsored for access by an NYU department.
Note that Tamiment Library and the Wagner Labor Archives, Fales Library, University Archives, and the U.S./U.N. Documents collections are open to the public. Please click General Public for more information.
If you are not sure what category applies to you or have questions about access policy please contact the Bobst Library Privileges staff at the entrance, or call (212) 998-2607.
